Description
The fuel in your carburetor's fuel bowls can boil and cause poor performance, or could even stop your car from running if exposed to excessive heat. This happens because there is a direct fuel line to the exhaust manifold (or header on Triumph TR250 and Triumph TR6) to your carburetors. A Stainless Heat shields blocks the radiant heat produced by the exhaust manifold (or header), and will keep your carburetors cooler which reduces the tendency to vapor lock. Each heat shield is made from Stainless steel, and has been precision cut with a laser for a perfect fit. You will need six carburetor gaskets(148035) to seal the heat shield, one for each side of the shield. Keep you car running cooler this summer by installing a heat shield. 865-210
