Gravity and time take a great toll on the springs of your Triumph TR4A solid Axle.
The solid rear Triumph TR4A was quite a rare. It was built primarily for the export markets and in particular the USA took the bulk, where it was felt that the comfort and predictability was at a higher premium than the improved road holding of the IRS cars. Triumph engineers were really clever to get the conversion back from IRS with a minimum of components being re-designed. Which means this spring will ONLY fit the Triumph TR4A, if you want to improve your TR3 and TR4 you will the late TR4 spring and spacer block. Call for details. Made in the UK for a perfect fit, spring rate (103lbs inch) and ride height. Beware of cheaper copies that are made off shore that will not have the correct ride height or spring rate.
