This is a Borg and Beck Brand Clutch Disc (Driven Plate) for a MGB 1963 to 1980 and MGA MKII from (e)3829 with 23 splines. Your clutch disc is transfers power smoothly, and if the clutch disc is warn it cannot do its job.
