This Water Pump for a Triumph TR250, Triumph TR6 to 1970 (e)CC80027E and Triumph GT6. This water pump comes with a new gasket which is not shown in the picture. You should always use new clean radiator fluid in your Triumph when you change the water pump. Because the biggest killer of water pumps is coolant degradation which will built up debris in the cooling system and wreck seals and bearings. How can degradation cause this? Corrosion in the system from the break down of coolant causes the engine for rust from the inside out. Another things that causes you water pump to fail is out of balance cooling fan blades. This can happen a couple of ways, one is just a simple bent blade. The vibration of the bent blade will shake the pump apart and wipe the bearings out. Or if the surface of the mounting plate on the fan is not clean when installing the water pump. Dirt or rust under one portion of the mounting base with cause a imbalance and again wipe the bearings out because of the side loads. Check all of these out when replacing our water pump in your Triumph to insure you get a long life out of the new pump. Cross reference # 835-030
